It was reported to police that on Tuesday June 7, 2022, at approximately 0020 hours, an unknown male individual boarded an MTA bus through the rear doors in the vicinity of Flatbush Avenue and Ocean Avenue as it was stopped in traffic. As the bus operator demanded the individual disembark the bus, a verbal dispute ensued. The individual displayed a knife, stabbed a 39-year-old Bus Operator in the head and stomach. As the physical altercation was taking place, two additional male individuals boarded the bus and menaced the Bus Operator with a boxcutter. Two of the individuals fled southbound on Ocean Avenue while the other fled eastbound on Empire Boulevard. The victim was transported, by EMS, to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
