TWU Local 100 Mourns the Passing of Josephine Arroyo, Retired Vice President of Local 101
For 42 years, she worked at National Grid, where she not only represented the voices of her union family but uplifted them with dignity and heart. Her legacy is one of integrity, strength, and tireless commitment to the labor movement. She was respected by all who knew her and admired for her ability to lead with both resolve and kindness. TWU Local 100 President John V. Chiarello reflected, “She was a decent person and a great union leader.” As we mourn this profound loss, we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and our brothers and sisters in Local 101. Josephine’s light will continue to shine through the work we do and the values she lived by every day. Rest in power, Sister Arroyo. You will never be forgotten.
