WANTED BY NYPD

Police need our help in finding the criminal who assaulted our Union brother, Bus Operator

Anthony Reid, out of Fresh Pond Depot. Why was Brother Reid attacked? He reminded his attacker that MTA rules require passengers to wear a mask on buses. If you see the man shown on the Security Alert below, call MTA Department of Security Command Center at 718-694-4278. We need to get this person off the street and prosecuted.

On Sunday, July 5, 2020, at approximately 7:15 am, the individual depicted in the main photo allegedly punched a NYCT Bus Operator. He required stitches to close a gash to his head. The alleged perpetrator was last seen wearing a black "NYC" Champion-brand hooded sweatshirt and black shorts with a white stripe on the sides.

All NYCT employees are reminded to immediately report any suspicious persons, unusual encounters or inquiries, or unusual vehicles or packages to their respective operational command centers. 

The  Department of Security Command  Center must also be contacted at 718-694-4278 as soon as possible. In an emergency, please call 911 first.
