Contract Update from President Richard Davis

We have begun departmental negotiations with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The first of many departmental sessions was held today, April 25, 2023. Your top four officers, the seven Vice Presidents, the Division Chairs, along with our expert lawyers and experienced staff, are engaged in the hard work of securing the best possible contract from the Authority.

As transit workers, we have repeatedly shown that we are more than than essential. The pandemic. Blizzards. Blackouts. Floods. Every Commute. Every Hour.  Every Day. We are there.

That’s the conviction your leadership is bringing to the negotiating table every session. Let’s stay united and show a united front as we face management in this important fight.
